In the small private marina there is a private boat launch, so no need to trailer boats around. The house guests have access and private use of the long dock off the end of the peninsula under the willow tree. Bring up your own boat or rent a boat or pontoon for the week!

When leaving out of the marina by boat head East by slightly Southeast. Head straight for the drop off and then turn south to head out down Elk Lake. Use the willow tree as your line to go east and come back west to the marina.

Elk lake is a wonderful lake for boating. It is a large lake and connects to other lakes. You can even get to Torch Lake which is rated as one of the most beautiful fresh water lakes in North America.

Elk Lake has several sand bars where you can anchor and jump right out on the sand and swim, throw the ball, etc. Elk Lake is great for water skiing and tubing.

The marina is shared by 8 slip renters. They typically use their boats on weekends with the occasional evening use. The slip renters are local folks and understand the use of the house for summer rentals. They are good people and respectful of your time and privacy. Should you have any issues or concerns, please contact us.

With the exception of the guest dock, the marina is private; please keep all people, kids, pets etc off the docks and boats.

PLEASE always have kids wear life jackets at all times when near the marina or water (beach) Accidents can happen quickly.
